About Turning Leaf Auto Repair Now Lewis General Tires

Located at 305 Commerce Dr, Rochester, NY 14623, Turning Leaf Auto Repair Now Lewis General Tires operates as an auto repair shop serving Rochester in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Rochester, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across New York vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Turning Leaf Auto Repair Now Lewis General Tires at (585) 749-7917; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 145 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto repair shops in Rochester.

Ghastley customer service. No communication, they will leave you on the hook for months then sell your car to salvage without telling you. Only found out because salvage called about the plates. No lien notice, no mail, no public auction, no accounting of charges or sales. No record keeping of any of this. Very illegal. I'm told Brian is no longer in charge and that really explains it.

I've only owned a car for the last few years, and refuse to take my car to anywhere else. I got a recommendation from a friend originally but have found multiple online recommendations for this place which just reassures me that I chose the right shop. Never done me wrong, never overcharged me, never left the shop unhappy with what I paid for. Brian gives solid advice, and has helped me understand how to take care of my vehicle. Will continue to go here until I move or the shop goes out of business (which will NEVER happen!)

This is my favorite auto shop in Rochester. The folks that work here are just passionate about cars. They are also incredibly kind. Brian is the most approachable and honest mechanic I've ever interacted with. He's willing to work with his clients to find the right solution for their car and their budget. DO NOT go here trying to haggle, they are already trying to give you the best deal for your options. These guys are very up front and honest with their clients. The shop isn't flashy, but you're guaranteed that the work is done right.

Brian and his crew are first rate honest professionals and overall good people. They have more than gained my trust over the years. I have taken my Toyota, Honda, and previous Kia here and have always gotten the best service one could ask for. Their pricing is incredibly fair and like others have said, they will give you an honest assessment with no unnecessary repairs. These guys are on top of their craft.
